Mold & Asbestos Removal

One job, handled end to end across London, Ontario and the surrounding area tested by a laboratory first, removed to Ontario standards.

One Job, Start To Finish

Mold and asbestos usually turn up in the same houses, often in the same room, and the work overlaps almost completely, the same containment, the same negative air, the same disposal paperwork. We handle it as one job. Testing comes first, because it decides everything after it.

First: Testing & Lab Samples

Nothing gets disturbed until a laboratory has confirmed what the material is. We collect the samples and send them for analysis, and you get the written result.

What it costs

The estimate visit is free. Lab analysis is billed per sample, because the laboratory charges per sample.

Mold Removal & Remediation

Mold is a moisture problem before it is a cleaning problem. Wiping it off with bleach and painting over the stain gets you few months of quiet and then the same patch back, usually bigger. We deal with the water first.

Asbestos Abatement & Removal

Asbestos was used in Canadian residential construction into the 1980s, and some products containing it were legally sold well after that. If your home was built or renovated before about 1990, assume suspect materials are present until a laboratory says otherwise.

Left alone and in good condition, most of it is not an immediate hazard. The danger comes from disturbing it sanding, cutting, drilling, demolishing. That is exactly what a renovation does, which is why testing before demolition matters so much.
